Paper has been hand-made in Nepal from the inner bark of a Himalayan shrub, lokta, for centuries. Originally used for religious manuscripts and government records, lokta paper is now prized for its strength, rich texture, and natural beauty to create a variety of artisan paper products. The lokta bark is harvested from wild shrubs which regenerates quickly; arable land and valuable forest resources are not compromised.
We are excited to present our collection of handmade lokta paper products which includes Forest Leaf, Kaleidescope, and Groovy Wave designs in a combination of coordinated gifts sets, journals, and albums.
